Shipping is currently a flat rate $60 for one or any number of geckos, added in the cart at checkout.  Shipping is available for all domestic states, including Alaska, but excluding Hawaii.  International shipping is available, and it is up to the buyer to select an exporter to bring the animal from the United States to their destination.  Contact with any questions.

 

When you purchase a gecko from Gecko Worlds you agree to all of the following terms.  All customers must be 18 years or older to purchase a gecko.   

 

Local Pickup: Geckos are available for local pickup in the greater Chicago area.  If you want to receive your gecko through local Chicagoland area pickup, contact here through the contact form before you purchase to confirm.

Photos: All animals are photographed for sale pictures with every effort to depict their color and details as accurately and true to life as possible.  Feel free to contact for further pictures of any animal.  Animals are posted in partially fired or fully fired condition.  Traits, colors, and morphs are noted to the best of our ability.  Baby gecko colors are estimated adult colors and are not a guarantee, as geckos can change in many ways as they grow.

Shipping: After purchase, you'll receive an email to arrange a shipping or pickup date.  Geckos can be held without cost until safe mutually-agreed upon shipping weather occurs. Buyer must be available to accept their shipment at the address provided or at the agreed-upon nearby Fed shipping hub.  Gecko Worlds guarantees the animal was shipped out in a healthy state and shipped according to all FedEx rules and regulations.  Shipping directly to a Fedex hub for buyer pickup is preferred as it is safest for the geckos in case of any delays.  Ship Your Reptiles is the Gecko Worlds shipping carrier, so their experienced shipping and temperature guidelines are followed.

DOA: In the unforeseen event of a deceased animal upon arrival, Gecko Worlds must be notified within thirty minutes of the animal's arrival at the home or pickup hub.  Documentation of the animal's condition with pictures must be received. Full refund for the cost of the animal will be provided.

Tail Loss:  If a gecko drops their tail after purchase and before shipping, then you will be contacted to see if you would still like to go ahead with the purchase.  If a gecko drops their tail during shipping, then there is no refund or exchange.

Sexing: All geckos are sold as unsexed unless otherwise noted.  Any geckos can be checked for pores if requested, but there is no guarantee of sex for hatchling or juvenile geckos.  

 

Return Period: All sales are final.  This is for the health and safety of all animals both at Gecko Worlds and on the receiver's end.

Payments, Deposits and Refunds: All geckos are available until payment is received.  Full payment of the gecko and shipping cost is required to ship your gecko.  Contact to begin a payment plan.  Animals can be held with a 20% nonrefundable deposit.  The remainder of the payment (80% of the cost of the gecko plus the $60 shipping cost) is due within 30 days of the initial payment.  Any payments are non-refundable if the buyer backs out or does not pay the remainder of the cost.
